Because most of our guests like to be out and about hiking and sight-seeing, we give you an extra 2 hours on the check-in day at 1 p.m. (instead of a normal 3 p.m. check-in) and then check-out is by 10:00 a.m. the next morning. Check-In 1:00 p.m. or after. If you will be checking in later than 1 or 2 p.m., please let us know your time of arrival so that we will be sure to have the gates open for your arrival.

Because of the small nature of our bed and breakfast, we can offer you rare privacy and quietness.
We reserve the right to refuse accommodations upon arrival, or to ask guests to leave, for intoxication of any nature, rowdiness, or lack of respect of our policies or staff of any kind on our premises. We reserve the right to cancel reservations due to mechanical or weather situations beyond our control, in which case a full refund will be made to your credit card.

Accommodations, Breakfast and Rates: The two guestrooms can comfortably accommodate one or two people. The rates below are for one or two persons, adult or children.
Due to the historic nature of the buildings, the small guestrooms are not furnished with handicapped facilities. RATES: We offer a Country Bed and Breakfast rate at $139 - bottom line, inclusive of all charges, taxes, and fees - for one or two people and includes a specially prepared country breakfast (see description below).We offer two guestrooms, each at the same rate. The Pioneer Bedroomis furnished with a queen bed and a small private toilet room, and a separate shower and vanity area. $139 per night for one night. Inclusive.
The Kachina Bedroom is furnished with two twin beds and has a small private shower/toilet room, and a vanity area in the room. $139 per night for one night. Inclusive. WE DO NOT REQUIRE A TWO NIGHT MINIMUM.
The rate includes a country breakfast. We are famous for country specialties such as the "Mascot Mine Southwest Burrito," smothered with cheese and homemade green chile sauce made from Hatch chiles; or a scrumptious "Southwest Green Chile and Roasted Vegetable Quiche," or "Dos Cabezas Really and Truly Flapjacks," made with whole wheat, oat and honey, and delicious pecans; or a "Retreat Quichettata." The country breakfast also includes yogurt and fruit and nuts prepared for you. We serve Starbucks coffee or tea; breakfast is served at one seating between 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. depending on your hiking and birding schedules, to be determined at time of arrival. The menu varies from day to day and week to week.
WINGS OVER WINGS OVER WILLCOX For the dates of January 10-15, 2012, the breakfast menu during the festival will vary from continental breakfasts to hot breakfasts depending on the tours and schedules, but all breakfasts will be served between 6:00 a.m. and 7:00 a.m. for those dates, or according to your needs to catch your tour on time.
Gift Certificates: We offer gift certificates which are great gifts for birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, weddings, or just for fun. We accept most major credit cards by phone. Purchase by phone and we will mail the Gift Certificate to you.
Reservations:We appreciate you making reservations in advance. As soon as you know your travel plans, give us a call to see if we have available dates. For a one night stay, we require full payment in advance, which will be charged to your credit card at the time you reserve. For a two night stay, we require one night in advance and payment for the second night due at check-in. For three or more nights, we require 50% deposit of the entire stay in advance and the remainder due upon check-in. Payment can be made by Visa, Master Card, or Discover credit card or debit card. The remaining amount is due at check-in. When you make your reservation, your credit card or debit card will be charged as per above. The balance will be charged upon your arrival. Sorry, we do not take American Express.
Refunds: Our regular cancellation policy is 7 days with a $20 cancellation fee. We would be happy to refund your deposit up to 7 days prior to your reservation. If you cancel your booking 7 days or less prior to the 24 hours before your reservation arrival date, we will rebook your reservation for a future date to be used within six month's timeframe, and subject to availability.
No refunds or credits can be issued for any days booked once a party has checked into our facility, or for no-shows or cancellations 24 hours or less from your arrival date. You are responsible at that point for the entire amount of your reservation. No refunds or credits are available for cancellations 24 hours or less from the reservation date for any portion of your reservation. Bird Viewing: Our bird viewing sites are not open to the public. However, you are welcome to phone ahead to see if we are booked. If we don't have guests, it may be possible for you to stop by for a birding visit. For birding info and availability of our viewing sites, you are welcome to call the day of your visit, but please to do not inquire previous to the day of your visit.
Check-in and out: Our check-in time is anytime 1:00 p.m. or later; however, if you will arrive later than 2:00 p.m., please call so that we will know what time to expect you so that we can have the gates open for your arrival. Check-out time is by 10:00 a.m. If you arrive in the area before check-in time, there are links elsewhere on our website for fun things to do prior to your check-in. There are several good restaurants in nearby Willcox.
Pets: Sorry, we cannot, under any circumstance accommodate pets. Please do not bring pets as you will lose your deposit and will also be responsible for the full reservation.
Smoking: We cannot accommodate smoking on the property or on the adjoining state land. Those of us who live in this area, and many of you who visit our home, are mindful that we have unusually dry conditions in this part of the world.
Food: Dos Cabezas Spirit and Nature Retreat serves a country breakfast, such as described above, and it is served between 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. The Leisure room has a microwave, coffee pot, under-counter refrigerator, and a toaster. Paper or plastic plates are provided for your other meals. There is not a cooktop, there are no barbeque grills, no outdoor cooking of any kind is allowed. There are several restaurants in nearby Willcox 14 miles west, about a 15 minute drive.
Relaxing: The Pioneer House Leisure Room has easy chairs, reading lamps, books, a TV with a DVD player (no television service), and WI-FI.
Self-Housekeeping: The Retreat offers self-housekeeping guestrooms. Maid service is not provided for stays less than a week.
No handicapped facilities: We are very sorry, but due to the historic nature of our buldings with small rooms, there are no handicap facilities.
Children: We accept well-behaved children 12 or older. Parents, please be advised that our bed and breakfast is very adult friendly. Due to the rough terrain, wild cactus and critters, the property itself is not conducive for young children to run and play. However, the nearby Chiricahua mountains are a wonder to behold for all family members, and is only a short, twenty-five minute drive. There you will find thousands upon acres to hike, run, jump, and play. Stay with us.....play in the mountains!
Hiking and Finding: We ask all of our guests to adopt the policies of "Leave it where you find it," and "If you pack it in, pack it out." Whether it's artifacts, gems, minerals, or rocks found on our property, if you will leave it, then others can enjoy it as well. Also, if you are hikers to the nearby Chiricahua mountains, please bring out not only what you take in, but help the environment and bring out any trash you can carry. Mother Earth appreciates it!
Nature at its best: The country is not town. Our guests are advised to please be aware of our nature friends in residence.
